Chaffee County Montessori School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school administered programs.

All children between the ages of 2 ½ and 6 are eligible for enrollment in the Primary program. All children between the ages of 6 and 9 are eligible for enrollment in the Elementary I program. Previous Montessori experience, readiness, and ages and gender of the child as they relate to class balance will be considered as a basis for acceptance.

Parents seeking to enroll their child in Chaffee County Montessori School are expected to complete each of the following:

• Attend three of the six CCMS Educational Programs being presented January – June 2007, particularly those relating to their child’s age, development and potential environment.
• Schedule two interviews. One interview will be for parents only with members of the staff of CCMS. The second interview will be for the student.
• Obtain and carefully read all materials in the CCMS Application Packet.
• Submit a completed and signed application form with a $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
• Upon acceptance, complete enrollment forms and remit all appropriate fees according to the published due dates.

Please note that the deadline for completion of your application process is March 9, 2007. Prior to that date, attendance at several meetings including New Parent Orientation, Education Meetings, Interviews and Initial application paperwork should be completed.
